The partnership between the 'Pencho Slaveykov' Public Library in Varna and the Public Library in Boulder, Colorado State, USA was established on May, 31st 2000.

The Project dates from 1999 and is a co-initiative between the Colorado Library Association, USA and the Union of Librarians and Information Services Officers in Bulgaria.

History of the Project

A group of experts and librarians led by the Chief Project Coordinator Mrs. Nancy Bolt visited Varna on 27th June 2000.
